Doe Follows the TrendThe abandoned home of late President Samuel Doe in Tuzon, Grand Gedeh County. Much of the US grants were in response to apparent overtures Doe was making with Libyan leader, Muammar Qaddafi, who had pledged aid to Doe. Ironically, it is alleged that the property has been sold to President Weah by Cllr. Since assuming the presidency, President Weah has been in the firing line of critics pushing him to declare his assets. President Weah in 2005 declared that his combined assets both in Liberia and the USA were more US$2.8 million.
