The above image is fake, something photoshopped that got passed around until it went viral, supposedly some sort of easter egg implying Fortnite characters are coming to Smash Bros. But even if that’s a hoax, I do believe that it is very, if not extremely likely that we could end up seeing Fortnite characters arrive in promised Super Smash Bros. Nintendo has shown that pretty much absolutely anyone is on the table when it comes to the Smash Bros. roster at this point, exemplified by the big Game Awards Persona Joker reveal. It’s very, very easy to imagine a Fortnite character in Smash. Probably the most iconic Fortnite character is Raptor, the “box art” hero, and I’d say next is probably Brite Bomber.
