By Emese BarthaThe Italian Treasury has canceled two government bond auctions in August, "considering cash management activity," it said Monday. Accordingly, the medium- and long-term bond auction, to be held for fixed-rate BTPs on Aug. 11, and an inflation-linked bond, or BTPei, auction on Aug. 25, won't be held, it said. August is traditionally a slow month in eurozone government-bond issuance due to the seasonal slowdowns. National debt agencies often cancel auctions scheduled for that month or don't schedule any at all. Write to Emese Bartha at emese.bartha@wsj.com(END) Dow Jones Newswires07-24-23 1257ET
