England left wing-back, Luke Shaw, has scored the fastest goal in the history of the UEFA European Championship. He scored less than two minutes into the Euro 2020 final game between England and Italy at Wembley on Sunday. Kieran Trippier, who was recalled to the Three Lions for Sunday’s Euro 2020 final, provided the assist. Shaw broke Chus Pereda’s record to emerge as the fastest scorer in a Euro final match. According to UEFA’s website, Chus Pereda scored in 5mins:17 secs in a final game between Spain and the Soviet Union on June 21, 1964.
