We're into the salad days of summer — though the Shakespearean phrase originally referred to the naïveté of youth. Though it's easy to default to the thought of tossed greens, salads can be built out of just about any ingredients, not necessarily tossed but arranged (artfully or not). Potato, Pasta and Green Bean Salad with Tuna and PestoYou could do potatoes or pasta, or both. If you don't have (or don't like) any of the ingredients, you can just leave them out.
