I quit my job to take care of my dad until he passed away and now I can't get back into the workforce. I took a job at our local library doing marketing and PR for 15 hours a week. Apart from lowering my household expenses and lowering my expectations for a new job, what else can I do? It is completely understandable that you would want to lower your expectations and get a job as quickly as you can. You can lower your expectations to find a survival job just to get you through your mojo refueling project but there's no need to lower your expectations for your career in general.
