That was probably the last football game I ever watched from start to finish. What the Super League protest has shown is that ordinary fans do have power if they act collectively. The question is at what point we collectively say, like the football fans, enough is enough. Set against genuine heroes like these, the achievement of the football fans was modest. What matters is that ordinary citizens stood up to the bullies and won.
