Borja Martínez-Laredo has been appointed as managing director and senior banker for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (Menat) team of JP Morgan Private Bank.Martinez-Laredo will be based in Geneva for the new role.He joins from technology firm Airtificial, a Madrid-based engineering company that uses artificial intelligence.Prior to that, Martinez-Laredo worked for Swiss bank UBS as deputy head of its Spanish team where he oversaw the expansion of its wealth management offering.During his time there, Martinez-Laredo was also responsible for consolidating the legal structures within UBS’s different European offices into a single bank.
