Tragedy struck on Tuesday night in Osogbo, capital of Osun State when a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in the state, Adebayo Mukaila, was shot dead by two-man armed robbery gang. Tribune Online authoritatively gathered that the deceased who owns a container made-shop at Omo-west street close to the NYSC Secretariat in the state capital. He added that his daughter was with him when he was shot by the armed robbers. When contacted, an official of the Public Relations Unit of the state NYSC, Mrs Catherine Otemuyiwa, confirmed that the deceased was a serving corps member in the state. She further disclosed that the NYSC secretariat in the state has contacted his family, while the incident has been reported to the Police.
