Just like an in-the-closet Hollywood actor, I owe a lot to my beard. It’s a bit depressing to realise that your facial hair is the real star of the show and you’re just along for the ride. It’s true to say that, as a bearded model, I’m attached to it more physically than emotionally. Some people wear a suit to work; I wear a beard.
