It is all part of a dramatic push to have the company, Jaguar Land Rover, a net zero carbon business by 2039. Jaguar Land Rover has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Motors since 2008. The company says all Jaguar and Land Rover nameplates will be available in pure electric form by the end of the decade. At the heart of its “Reimagine” plan is the electrification of both Land Rover and Jaguar brands on separate architectures. Future Jaguar models will be built exclusively on a pure electric architecture.
