Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman on Friday said neither he nor his party would engage in corruption, nor would they allow anyone else to do so. On the second day of election campaigning, the Jamaat Ameer arrived in Panchagarh from Dhaka at around 11am on Friday. After attending a public meeting there, he joined the Dinajpur rally at around 3:30pm. Chaired by Dinajpur district Jamaat Ameer Principal Anisur Rahman and conducted by district secretary Muhaddis Dr Enamul Haque, it was also addressed by Jamaat Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim. Leaders and activists of the 10-party alliance from all 13 upazilas of Dinajpur district were present at the rally.
