KUALA LUMPUR: The Red Shirts have vowed to deploy thousands of members into the streets on Nov 19, if the Bersih 5 rally, slated to be held on the same day, goes ahead as planned. "I warn (Bersih 2.0 chairman) Maria Chin Abdullah to respect the law. "We will hold a counter rally on the same day, date and time of the Bersih rally on Nov 19, and also the roadshows, should they fail to heed the law," he said. Earlier, four police reports of sedition were lodged against Bersih 2.0 at Dang Wangi police station, as Maria had allegedly called for an illegal street protest. "I am worried that the rally will affect the country's security and the country's good image," Jamal said.
