Lincoln City have triggered a contract extension to keep forward James Collins at the club until the end of next season. The 35-year-old has scored 16 goals in 45 games in all competitions since joining the Imps from Derby County in January 2025. Collins is currently recovering from a serious knee injury suffered in December, which is expected to keep him out for the rest of the campaign. Collins has represented the likes of Shrewsbury, Swindon, Luton, Crawley and Derby in a career spanning more than 15 years. Lincoln announced similar contract extensions for Tendayi Darikwa, Reeco Hackett and Conor McGrandles on Monday.
