DC Studios co-president James Gunn confirmed in that Matt Reeves’ Arkham television show is not set in the same universe as The Batman. On a Threads post, a fan asked about which continuity Matt Reeves’ various Batman-related projects are a part of. The fan was referring to The Batman Part 2, The Penguin Max streaming series, and the still-in-pre-production Arkham series. Instead of expanding the world of The Batman, the Arkham show can potentially expand the world of Brave and the Bold. Gunn stated that it was Matt Reeves’ choice to keep the two universes apart.
