The trio were not included in Leicester’s matchday squad for their trip to West Ham after they breached Covid-19 regulations by attending a gathering following the defeat to Manchester City last Saturday. Maddison, Choudhury and Perez, who hosted the party, have not been fined by Leicester and will be available for their side’s FA Cup semi-final against Southampton next Sunday. A statement from Leicester read: ‘The club has made its expectations around adherence to COVID-19 protocols abundantly clear to all its personnel. ‘They are all good guys, good lads, but we have a standard on and off the pitch that we have to adhere to.
