Over the years teams have traditionally turned up at Ibrox in a state of anxiety, even trepidation, about what’s in store for them against Rangers. It is the famed “aura” enjoyed by most huge clubs against a smaller visitor, as all but one of them are in Scotland. There have been times when it almost has been worth a goal of a start for Rangers when teams turn up with their knees knocking. If last weekend’s game against Hibernian was anything to go by Rangers cannot take any fear factor for granted, at least not against any team with substance.
