Manchester United forward Daniel James has hit back at an unnamed Sky ports pundit for claiming he supported Liverpool when he arrived at Old Trafford, when he was in fact a Chelsea fan. James joined United for around £16million from Swansea in the summer of 2019. Upon signing for United, James claims a Sky Sports pundit – who he does not name – said he is a Liverpool fan. “When I signed for United, I can’t remember who it was, one of the Sky Sports [pundits] said: ‘He supports Liverpool,'” James told the Manchester United website. “When I started playing for Swansea it [Chelsea] was the team I followed, but you don’t end up supporting them really.
