A handful of top musicians have been lined up to perform at the Jamhuri Day celebration that is ongoing at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi. As with the norm during national celebrations, entertainment usually cuts across the arts industry with performances from musicians, thespians and artists. Thespians and musicians are set to perform joint skits and songs that have been specifically tailored for the Jamhuri Day celebrations. The star-studded lineup of musicians includes; celebrated singer Eric Wainaina, Bahati, Wyre, Nazizi, Fena Gitu, Gilad Millo, Bensoul, Karwirwa Laura among others. Amalgamation of Nairobi Choristers will perform a medley of patriotic songs including Heko Jmahuri, Tunajivunia and Tuishangilie Kenya.
