‘Wor(L)d of My Bodies’ by Black Canvas is a final submission of one of last year’s 20 grant recipientsThe Japan Foundation Manila (JFM) is opening its call for proposals for the JFM Arts & Culture (JFMAC) Grant for 2022. Across the areas of film, Japanese studies, literature, music, performing arts, and visual arts, the JFMAC Grant is looking to fund imaginative cultural initiatives that reinforce the solidarity between Japan and the Philippines. Last year's 20 grant recipients have successfully implemented programs that bridged the two cultures through different forms. Now that many restrictions are lifted and more face-to-face interactions are happening, the JFMAC Grant is looking forward to supporting programs with in-person participation. Here, potential grantees may learn about application procedures, Japanese participation requirements, financial obligations, and other pertinent information to help them achieve successful application.
