According to a complaint filed by Tokyo prosecutors in March last year, the 44-year-old All Nippon Airways pilot allegedly subjected the cabin attendant to unwanted touching while they were on a street in Takamatsu, western Japan, in October 2023. The indictment says the defendant used his position as a pilot to cause the victim to fear consequences, thereby making her unable to assert herself. After learning of the incident, ANA suspended the pilot, but later allowed him to return to work. The pilot was indicted without being detained.
