Khandaker Delwar Jalali, Jatiya Party chairman’s press secretary, confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune. President M Abdul Hamid expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of the Jatiya Party leader, reports BSS. In April 2014, Bablu was appointed Jatiya Party secretary general, replacing Ruhul Amin Hawlader. Bablu was made party secretary general once again on July 26 last year by Chairman GM Quader.
