Jays hold on for one-run win at the Trop

Trailing 5-4 with one out in the seventh, Jays manager Gibbons pinch hit Randal Grichuk for catcher Reese McGuire and Grichuk cleared the bases with a triple to right to put the Jays ahead by two. Teoscar Hernandez (in the second) and Rowdy Tellez (in the sixth) smacked solo home runs for the Jays. Adam Moore hit a lead off homer in the eighth to make it 7-6 off Toronto reliever Jose Fernandez. That was followed by a double by Mallex Smith, who also had a triple, and single in the game. Tampa loaded the bases in the sixth but reliever Tim Mayza got Joey Wendle to ground out to end the threat.
