(CNN) Jerry Falwell Jr. has resigned -- again. In a statement Falwell Jr. acknowledged the affair but said that he was "not involved." Jerry Falwell Jr. and his wife Becki Falwell speak during a town hall meeting on the opioid crisis in March 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Falwell Jr. was one of the first evangelical leaders to endorse Trump when he ran for president. Jerry Falwell, a conservative Christian stalwart and founder of the Moral Majority movement.
