Paul Maurice, one of the longest tenured coaches in NHL history, has aged well. Marie, in town with the Jets for three pivotal games against the Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena, is in his 23rd season behind an NHL bench and eighth with Winnipeg. One of his earlier stops was Toronto, where he had a so-so Leafs team for two seasons from 2006-08 after a year with the AHL Marlies. And Travis Green, coached by Maurice as a Leaf, is now behind the bench of the North Division-rival Vancouver Canucks. He’s the longest-serving coach the Jets have had since they returned to the NHL in 2011.
