At just 22 years old, Joan Baez led an estimated crowd of 250,000 in song at the 1963 March on Washington. It was just one of countless performances Baez has given at peaceful protests over her 60-year career. “I Am a Noise” documents Baez’s life through old video, audio recordings and letters, as well as footage from her final tour. And from there I just said, ‘I want to create an honest legacy here as my life,’” Baez shared. While she won’t call it a “farewell tour,” Baez said her 2018 shows were her final bows.
