In the past two years, I've been researching and developing work that promotes autism acceptance. Once you know the right signs to look for, the presence of autism is clearly identifiable right back through the generations. I've written What I (Don't) Know About Autism for two reasons. One: to promote autism acceptance - the idea that we don't need to fix autistic people, we need to adapt the world to better accommodate all its citizens.
