Joe Biden is deeply out-of-touch when it comes to video games and gun violence. Both men have, on occasion, blamed video games for violence and school shootings. Trump blamed video games after the horrifying Parkland shooting, and he was wrong to do so. Now Biden, in an interview with the New York Times editorial board, has referred to game developers as “creeps” and accuses video games of teaching people how to kill. But suggesting that their games teach us how to kill is just plain silly and Biden should know better.
