Joe Rodon: Wales defender's two-year Leeds United streak in doubt after ankle injury

Joe Rodon could end a two-year streak of consecutive league appearances for Leeds United after injuring his ankle in Sunday's draw with Sunderland. The Welshman is a doubt for their next game at Liverpool on Thursday after being taken off in the 31st minute against the Black Cats. Leeds boss Daniel Farke told BBC Sport: "I fear that Joe Rodon will also probably miss this game (against Liverpool) and perhaps even the upcoming games. Rodon went down after a challenge from Brian Brobbey, before a near-identical challenge from Simon Adingra just minutes prior to Sunderland's goal. The centre-back tried to play on but went down straight after the goal went in, with Farke forced into an early change.
