Politics of Sunday, 25 January 2026Source: www.ghanaweb.comChairman of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Presidential Elections Committee, Joseph Osei-Owusu, popularly known as Joe Wise, has endorsed former Energy Minister Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko as a suitable chairman for the party, citing his firmness, discipline and ability to restore unity within the NPP. “It got to a point where many people are leaving the NPP to join the NDC and the numbers keep increasing. In this regard, Osei-Owusu threw his weight behind Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko, describing him as experienced, firm and widely respected within the party. “If Boakye Agyarko decides to lead the party, I will abandon everything I’m doing to support him. He is the person who can restore discipline and bring everyone back together,” he affirmed.
