The family of the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johanna Ng’eno has confirmed his burial will take place on Friday, March 6, following consultations between leaders and grieving relatives in Narok County. President William Ruto also visited the family at their Karen home in Nairobi, where he condoled with them following news of the fatal crash on March 2. He added that the late MP played a significant role in supporting the government’s Affordable Housing Programme as chair of the National Assembly’s Departmental Committee on Housing, Urban Planning and Public Works. Among leaders present at the consultative meeting were Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok, Narok Woman Representative Rebecca Tonkei, Kilgoris MP Julius Sunkuli and Chepalungu MP Victor Koech.
