General News of Tuesday, 5 June 2018Source: kessbenfm.comJohn Boadu pledges to set up a complaint secretariat for NPPJohn Boadu is Acting General Secretary of the New Patriotic PartyActing General Secretary, John Boadu, has on Sunday, June 3, rounded up his campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region with a pledge to set up a complaint secretariat, which shall be known as the Situation Room at the national headquarters of the party. The secretariat, he said, would be responsible for receiving complaints, reports and general communications from the party’s grassroots particularly constituency executives on daily basis for prompt action from the relevant authorities in government or in the party. Also, each constituency secretary shall be required to submit monthly reports on activities of the party, particularly the relationship between party and local government to national secretariat, through the Situation Room. Whilst in Greater Accra, he visited all the 34 constituencies in the region with the exception of Okaikoi South and Adenta which are still yet to hold their constituency primaries to elect executives. The team was at some point joined by Mame Afia Akoto, former Deputy Communications Director of the party.
