Sir John Major, Kenneth Clarke, Virginia Bottomley, Norman Fowler, William Waldegrave and John Moore are among those named in the file, compiled by the law firm acting on behalf of more than 800 victims and their families. Submitted ahead of the inquiry’s opening tomorrow, the document names 10 other politicians, many of whom held senior posts in the governments of Margaret Thatcher and Major when key decisions were made about the country’s blood supplies.
