John Yems delivered half-time hairdryer before Crawley comeback against Grimsby

Crawley head coach John Yems admitted it took a half-time rocket to get his side going as they overturned a 2-1 deficit to beat Grimsby 3-2 in an entertaining clash at the Broadfield Stadium. The Reds went into the interval behind after goals from Elliott Whitehouse and James Hanson gave Grimsby the advantage after Ollie Palmer’s opener. But Crawley pushed the Mariners back in the second period and further goals from Palmer and strike partner Ashley Nadesan gave them victory. “Grimsby set up well in the first half and deserved their lead, but second half we stuck with it and got the result. “It is very frustrating, I know we’re better despite not getting the points in the last couple of games.”
