JOHOR BARU: The Johor Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) is investigating an incident in which RON95 petrol was filled beyond the permitted limit into a plastic container at a Skudai petrol station on March 21. State KPDN director Lilis Saslinda Pornomo said the probe follows a viral social media post showing a vehicle allegedly involved in the act. She added that the premises have been inspected, including a review of CCTV footage and verification of transaction records and purchase receipts. "A case has been filed under Subregulation 12A of the Control of Supplies Regulations 1974, Control of Supplies Act 1961, for allegedly defying the instructions of the Controller of Supplies,” she said. She urged the public to report information or complaints via WhatsApp at 019-848 8000, the KPDN e-Complaint portal (e-aduan@kpdn.gov.my), 1-800-886-800 hotline, or the Ez ADU KPDN app.
