Spurs sacked Mourinho on Monday following a poor run of form in which the team registered just one win in their last six matches. AdvertisementAdvertisementIn one instance, Devine was individually sought out by Mourinho and praised for his attitude following his clash with Drinkwater during an Under-23s game in December. With just over 15 minutes remaining in the game, Devine went in two-footed on Drinkwater and a scuffle ensued after the Chelsea midfielder kicked out at the Spurs youngster. Meanwhile, Spurs’ new interim head coach Ryan Mason insists the players who were frozen out by Jose Mourinho will be given a clean slate.
