Cheltenham Town have signed forward Josh Davison from fellow League Two club Tranmere Rovers on loan until the end of the season. The 26-year-old scored two goals from nine league starts for Tranmere at the beginning of the season but has not featured in their starting line-up since 28 October. Davison moved to Tranmere from AFC Wimbledon in the summer of 2024 and has previously played for clubs including Peterborough United, Charlton and Swindon Town. He is available to make his Cheltenham debut on Saturday when they travel to Accrington Stanley after their midweek home clash against Gillingham was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
