A journalist came under attack allegedly by transport workers at the Mohakhali Bus Terminal in Dhaka this morning. Describing the attack, Masum said he was riding his motorcycle from the Bdnews24.com office to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery when he noticed transport workers assaulting a motorcyclist near the Mohakhali Bus Terminal. As he inquired about the reason behind the assault, the transport workers turned on him. Masum filed a general diary (GD) with the Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station, against unidentified individuals. Several journalist organisations, including the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU), Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ), Bangladesh Health Reporters Forum (BHRF), and Dhaka Utility Reporters Association (DURA), condemned the attack.
