Nobel Chakma, assistant commissioner (Kotwali zone) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP), said they are investing into the matter. Meanwhile, Chittagong Union of Journalists (CUJ) expressed grave concern over the disappearance of the journalist. Chittagong Metropolitan Union of Journalists (CMUJ) also expressed grave concern over the disappearance of the journalist. By issuing a media release, the organization urged the law enforcement agencies to take effective steps to rescue the missing journalist.
