That’s why I’m delighted to see Oscar Cortes back at Rangers from Lens in a deal which means the club is obliged to buy him for £4.5million next summer. Rangers have been screaming out for a player in that position and Oscar has the full package. Every time Rangers played Celtic last season – five games and no wins – the pre-match talk was about how they stopped Callum McGregor from dictating the play. I believe Clement has made a solid start to his re-build by bringing in Jefte, Mohamed Diomande and Cortes. The players who come into the club need to be the right type and they need to hit the ground running.
