PTI reported that metropolitan magistrate Shefali Barnala Tandon rejected the plea for two days' custody of Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal, saying the legislators were ready to cooperate and join the probe. The two have been sent to a day's judicial custody till the next hearing on Thursday. Prakash has accused Khan and Jarwal of assaulting him at Kejriwal's Flagstaff Road bungalow on the night of February 19. The AAP has claimed the chief secretary is part of a "BJP conspiracy to destabilise the government". "Eleven MLAs were present at the meeting at the chief minister's residence and yet only Prakash Jarwal, a Dalit MLA, and Amanatullah Khan were arrested.
