The Queen has made the following appointments on the advice of the lord chancellor and the lord chief justice of England and Wales:● Simon James Richard Buss to be a district judge. The lord chief justice assigned him to the Midland circuit, based at Northampton County Court with effect from October 7, 2019. ● Claire Roberta Jean Gourley to be a district judge. The lord chief justice assigned her to the Northern circuit, based at Wigan County Court and Family Court with effect from October 14. The lord chief justice assigned her to the Western circuit, based at Portsmouth Combined Court Centre with sittings at Bournemouth County Court with effect from October 21.
