Mr Assange caught authorities and his followers unawares when it emerged he had fallen in love and managed to start a secret family despite his bunkered life. In 2011, a starstruck Ms Moris joined team Assange as a legal researcher. Although the Embassy was an unlikely love nest, by 2015 Mr Assange and Ms Moris were deeply in love. But she still pursued a family life with Mr Assange, taking the children to see him whenever possible. "They had instructions to steal his DNA in order to establish that Julian was the father, and in a bid to hurt Julian," Ms Moris claims in the interview.
