‘I have no issues with the Champions League, I like the competitive factor of football as well. I like the fact that West Ham might play Champions League football next year, no problem. We didn’t win all the games but we go with everything and we want to qualify for the Champions League next year. Yesterday we didn’t really know and this morning I had a short meeting with all the boys, telling them all I know – which is not a lot. But if someone thinks they have to remind us that we have to earn a spot in the Champions League, that’s a joke.
