Colin Richard Jeffries-Smith, left, faces one charge of murder while Casino Heta Williams faces charges of firearm possession and accessory after the fact of murder. The jury set to decide whether Colin Jeffries-Smith is guilty of the murder of Mongrel Mob enforcer Lance Waite were presented two differing narratives as the Crown and defence summed up their cases on Friday. Jeffries-Smith faces one charge, that he murdered Mongrel Mob Notorious chapter member Waite, in Tauranga on January 3 last year. SUNLIVE Lance Waite, 58, was dropped off at Tauranga Hospital on January 3 last year with critical injuries and died that same day. As the six week trial drew to a close Crown prosecutor Anna Pollett told the jury the evidence suggested "no clearer case of murder".
