Justice Binnie defends David Bain caseRetired Canadian Supreme Court Judge Justice Ian Binnie has defended his conclusion on the Bain case. Justice Ian Binnie has responded to the hit podcast Black Hands, defending his conclusion that David Bain is innocent. Binnie was appointed by the Government to look into the case in 2011 in response to David Bain's application for compensation. "All through the David Bain case people kept popping out of the woodwork"But he insisted that he was not misled by David Bain when he interviewed him for his 2011 investigation. He said the evidence that David Bain was unstable before the murders was unreliable.
