As part of the new investigation, the Justice Department has interviewed pilots and flight attendants on the flight. We are fully cooperating and do not believe we are a target of the investigation,” Alaska Airlines said. Investigators view the failed door plug that blew out of the Alaska Airlines flight in the backyard of a property in Oregon. On March 6, the National Transportation Safety Board’s top official expressed worry that the Justice Department’s involvement could chill cooperation with its accident probe.
