Justice Minister Helen McEntee urges public to use 'self control' to stop spread of Covid after concerns raised over pub crowds

JUSTICE Minister Helen McEntee has urged the public to take “personal responsibility” to stop the spread of the coronavirus after concerns were raised about social distancing outside pubs and restaurants. Ms McEntee’s comments follows images of crowds of people gathering outside pubs. “Unfortunately scenes like this have been taking place over the last few weekends in Dublin city centre,” the LVA said. “We are also aware that members of the public are bringing alcohol purchased from off-licences with them to these locations. It is potentially extremely damaging to public health.
