Two security firms were yesterday awarded certificates of human rights compliance following an audit by the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights. Wells Fargo and KK Security emerged the best security firms for being keen on promoting and defending human rights as part of their business practices. An audit by the commission found Wells Fargo fully complies with its obligations under the labour law and had made a significant contribution in ensuring the welfare of its employees is safeguarded. Nyaundi said the Kenya Private Security Regulatory Authorty should work to weed out firms that break labour laws. Wells Fargo was audited on February 10.
