more-inMinister for Energy Kala Venkata Rao on Tuesday said there would not be increase in power tariff in the near future as the government could curtail the T&D losses significantly. The government’s policies and power reforms were yielding the desired result, he said. Along with MP K. Rammohan Naidu and whip K. Ravikumar, the Minister inaugurated a 33kV sub-station at Lolugu village of Amadalavalasa mandal. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Venkata Rao said that the sub-station would help overcome low voltage problem in many villages. Mr. Venkata Rao hoped the industrial progress would be rapid in the State with assured power supply.
